Cleaning

Although properties are cleaned between bookings you are expected to keep and leave the property in a clean and tidy state. Should any additional charges be made by our cleaners these will be deducted from your damage deposit.

Damage Deposits

When paying the balance, we require a separate cheque for £100 as a deposit against breakages, damage or additional cleaning. This is returned to you in full within 14 days of your holiday if no loss, damage or additional cleaning is incurred.

Car Parking

There is one off road parking space for each apartment. On arrival day, you are welcome to park your car outside the property any time after 10am.

If you have additional cars in your party, they can be parked at the Park Avenue Long Stay car park, just 100 yards before the property. Weekly tickets can be purchased at Penwith District Council long stay car parks but unfortunately tickets cannot be purchased in advance. In high season, an attendant will be there, otherwise £1 coins will be required. Charge is approximately £25 P/W .

Note: weekly tickets do not guarantee a space but can be used in any council long stay car park in the Penwith district.

Bed linen and towels

Bed linen is not included in the rental price but is available for hire at £7.50 per double set and £5.00 per single. If linen is hired, this will be ready on your beds on arrival. (Duvets and pillows are provided for all beds including folding beds)

Tea towels and washing up liquid and sponge are provided.

Please bring your own towels.

Key collection times

Arrival time is between 3pm and 5pm. We may be able to make special arrangments if you expect to arrive late. Please telephone if you are delayed.

Keys cannot be collected before 3pm, but you are welcome to leave your car any time after 10am.

Vacating your property on the day of departure

All properties MUST be vacated by 10am on the departure day.  Keys should then be returned to the caretakers basement flat. We are afraid that this cannot usually be extended as properties must then be prepared for the next visitors.

Cancelling your holiday

Please notify us of any cancellation by phone as soon as possible followed by written confirmation within 7 days. We will make every effort to secure another booking on the property for the same period and if successful will make a full refund, less an administration charge of £20. We recommend that cancellation insurance is arranged to cover this eventuality. If we are unable to re-let the property, the full hire charge will still become due 6 weeks before your holiday commences.

This is included in the price of your holiday, but we would appreciate you using heating, electricity and water sensibly and responsibly.

What is provided at the property ?

Both apartments are fully furnished as detailed in the property details section of the website.  All basic utensils are provided, including a good range of basic cooking utensils and cutlery, an iron, ironing board, cleaning cloths etc.  A hair dryer is also provided.

Consumables are NOT provided such as cleaning materials, washing powder, salt & pepper etc. There will be a toilet roll (not necessarily full) in each bathroom, but we do not provide further toilet rolls during your stay.

Bed linen is available for hire at £7.50 per double and £5.00 per single

Tea towels, washing up liquid (may not be full), and washing up sponge and brush are provided.

Towels are not provided, so please bring your own.

Pets

No pets are allowed, and there can be no exceptions so that we can reassure all guests that there will be no pet odour or problems with pet allergies.

Short breaks

Short breaks are available outside of School holidays, with discounts as follows:

65% of weekly rental for 2 nights; 70% of weekly rental for 3 nights;75% of weekly rental for 4 nights; 80% of weekly rental for 5 nights.

Two person rates are available outside of School Holidays. (Also may be  available on 4 bed flat if 2 bed not available)

Can I arrange for a taxi to pick me up from the bus or train station ?

The apartments are only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations, and a short taxi ride. If you require a taxi, please contact DJ Cars on 01736 796633

Shopping for food

There is a Tesco as you pass through Carbis Bay just before reaching St. Ives, left at the mini-roundabout where the store is well signposted and visible from the road. There is a Co-op convenience store located within a few minutes walk of the apartments, the quickest route being down the steps directly opposite the apartments, signposted Town Centre. As you reach the bottom of the steps and walk passed the police station on your left, you should see the Co-op ahead of you, across the road.
